Human Resources Manager (Part-Time) – USA

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and set up processes in our new US office.


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding process including preparation of company contracts, background checks, drug screenings etc.
  • Set up and administer company benefits, negotiate with brokers
  • Payroll administration
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Prepare and maintain employee handbook
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system in alignment with company bonus structure
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management
  • Administer leave of absences and workers compensation


  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or similar role
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Working experience with supporting multi-state employees
  • Experience working for a start-up company is a must
  • Experience with international sponsorship visas is a plus
