Business Development Manager for OEMs with German language

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to oversee the relationships of Photoneo with its most important clients. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers and acquiring new ones primarily located in the automotive and supplier industry related companies in German speaking countries and their international affiliates.

The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships on C-Level to “DACH” Headquartered leading global companies with Robotic Automation and 3D-Vision requirements
  • Elevate the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives, and acquire new customers
  • Market Focus and understanding of Automotive Manufacturers (VW, BMW, Daimler, etc), and/or Tier-1 suppliers (BOSCH, DEKRA, Benteler, etc) or Logistic & Distribution (Deutsche Post) and Global System Solution Entreprises (Siemens)
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements, place first projects and turn new sales into long-lasting relationships
  • Coordinate the proposal, quotation process and lead the negotiation and contracting to ensure solutions, products and services are delivered to fullest customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key partners, customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

Personality requirements and skills:

  • German language (C2) and English language(C1) is a must
  • Any European language is an advantage (French, Italian, Spanish, etc)
  • Proven experience in account management, sales or business development in the automotive and/or supplier industry
  • Good basic technical understanding of robotic solutions
  • Goal orientation, willing to investigate, troubleshoot and drive the solution of found issues in hardware and software systems
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
