Marketing Communication Specialist – Team Leader
Purpose and goal of the position
The purpose and goal of this role is to maximize brand and product impressions to relevant Photoneo Customers by managing and conducting Marketing and PR activities. The Marketing Team Leader partners with the Director of Marketing & Customer Experience and coordinates other contributors from Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Sales Admin proactively to generate leads and achieve strong brand awareness of Photoneo with customers, both inside and outside the company.
Cross functional communication, persistence and project management skills are key to ensure a smooth, steady and timely flow of Marketing communication initiatives in line with product and software launch schedules as defined in partnership with product management. A daily focus and the key measurement for success will be the quantity and quality of leads, captured and traced in the CRM system from first contact, through lead, opportunity to Sales.
Under the leadership of the Director, the Marketing Communication Team Leader will cooperate with and suggest to the product managers and VP of Strategy the best tactics and exact timing for best possible results based on available resources and budget. The person will plan for and align availability of internal and external Marketing Communication resources and agencies in harmony with the bigger portfolio-launch strategy and will manage online and other campaigns (brand and product).
Success in the role requires a solid domain education and experience of the candidate (minimum 5 years in comparable position) The Marketing Specialist will seek regular feedback from all stakeholders to optimize the tactics. The Marketing Specialist – offers the most friendly voice, displaying the “friendly face” of Photoneo at any point in time. The person will display role model communication skills, aimed to maximize Customer Experience at any time. A keen eye for the Marketing and Brand Awareness details help just as much as a relentless passion to make sure brand data is always accurate and up to date and in line with our product and strategy team. As a team leader, the role coordinates other marketing team members to deliver all projects on time and in defined quality. Bi-directional help from and to the Customer Experience Team to balance peak loads is expected as a natural teamwork function.
Core responsibilities
- Ownership, Creation, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns
- Ownership of outside company events, exhibitions, training and webinars
- Management of brochures, leaflets, banners and other product promotion materials
- Planning and implementation of marketing projects and content creation.
- Actively partake in Marketing Training courses to continue growing in the areas you feel best to gain the knowledge and skills that will best support your Marketing Career
- Continue an open, honest, safe and transparent communication working atmosphere
- Help to create and set up training and other presentations as and when required
- Maintenance of marketing materials and files on google drive in the marketing folder
- Provides the Director of Marketing & Customer Experience with relevant monthly analytical data for review and analysis for decision making & best practices implementation
- Active communication with suppliers, partners, distributors and internal Photoneo staff, ensuring accessibility of all marketing assets
- Participation in strategic communication and creation of strategic marketing content
- Help to set up Marketing processes, workflows and best practices
- Daily use and savviness with CRM systems for Marketing and Sales use (ideally HubSpot)
- Analysis of available opportunities to increase brand awareness
- Re-design and maintenance of company web-page, SEO optimization
- Update and modernize CI manual
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A passion for marketing and all that it entails
- Formal Marketing Education plus min 3 years experience or
- min 5 years experience in a comparable position
- English B1 to understand the written english and database
- all workflow documentation is in English
- German and multiple other languages are a plus
- Good knowledge of CRM and Marketing Tools, ideally Hubspot
- Literacy in the Google suite (or Microsoft Office)
- Desire to work in a dynamic, growing and fast paced environment
- Precision, critical thinking, ability/willingness to learn and a true team player mentality
- Strong communication skills
Education and Experience
- Secondary education or University education
- Marketing experience
- Experience with Hubspot, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Jira, Odoo or similar software
