About the position
BRIGHTPICK is seeking an Operations Office Assistant for its North American Training and Technical Center in Erlanger, Kentucky, near the Greater Cincinnati International Airport. BRIGHTPICK manufactures mobile robots which are deployed into our customer’s warehouses to automate their operations. The Operations Assistant is responsible for coordinating office activities in support of North American operations and maintaining office efficiency.

Expectations:

  • Manage procurements including purchase order creation and invoice processing
  • Establish new vendor accounts and manage RFQ process
  • Coordinate and actively track international and domestic shipping and receiving
  • Act as first point of contact for vendor requests
  • Assist with trade show preparation, logistics, scheduling and execution
  • Process returns and arrange for disposal of consumed industrial supplies
  • Update and maintain records across multiple platforms (SAP, Hubspot, JIRA, etc…), e.g. inventory
  • Communicate with outsourced service providers, e.g., lawyer, accounting, HR/PEO, ISP
  • Have the ability and willingness to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • Open and/or close office, general filing and copying, various administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assist with setting up for BRIGHTPICK hosted meetings (i.e. catering, handouts, beverages, etc.)
  • Order/ship BRIGHTPICK employee computer equipment
  • Request/obtain tax exemption certificates from customers and provide BRIGHTPICK resale certificate when applicable

Skills/Knowledge/Experience in your toolbox:

  • Organised multitasker who can divide efforts flexibly among different tasks
  • Exceptional efficiency with computer systems and learning new tools
  • Excellent communicator verbally and written, and able to work collaboratively on a team
  • Able to work proactively and without close supervision
  • Ability to grasp technical terms and communicate clearly with customers
  • Confident individual who can perform customer outreach and coordinate team scheduling
  • Associates degree or equivalent in a Business or a Technical discipline or verified experience of 5 years of office management in a technology company
  • BRIGHTPICK’s North American location is in Hebron, KY just outside of Cincinnati
