Software Analyst
As an SW Analyst, you will work closely with a product development team and document its processes and systems. You will also process product requirements and match them with the software being built. SW Analyst should operate as a joint between system users and system developers. You will interact with developers mainly through the Project Manager and Software Development Managers. One of the main responsibilities of SW Analyst is to analyze, create and maintain software requirements specification documents. You will be in charge of processes like Story mapping, Drafting functional and non-functional requirements, and tracking the whole development process. Your daily agenda should be participation in Project and Product Management meetings and watching the development process to address and accomplish all product requirements.
Core responsibilities
- Providing consistent requirements documentation, starting from high-level vision and requirements to low-level functional and non-functional requirements
- Research and analysis of existing solutions
- Rrequirements lifecycle management, analysis, and design definition
- Interaction with product stakeholders
- Analyze and critically verify feature requests
- Collaborate with business analysts on specification and documentation of business process requirements
- Review and evaluate software specifications and keep solution requirements documentation up-to-date, maintain all project documents
Requirements
- University education (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree)
- Postgraduate degree is a plus
- Written and spoken English - Upper-intermediate (B2)
- 2+ years of experience in an Analyst role
- Strong analytical mind; ability to understand, describe, visualize, analyze and solve various problems and issues
- Logical thinking, presentation skills, decision-making skills, problem-solver attitude
- Experience with different analytical techniques like interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis
- Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies
- Documentation and visualization abilities, experience with solution requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases
- Knowledge of modeling techniques in Unifying Modeling Language or others
- High communication and collaboration skills with various levels (management, technical and non-technical resources)
