Technical / Application Consultant

About the position

As a technical consultant, you will play an important role in our customer relationships.

As an advanced user of Photoneo products, you will be on the front-line to resolve any customer’s queries, backed by the team of skilled application engineers and the R&D team. Your diligent work, friendly and professional approach will lead to great customer satisfaction and to the improvements of documentation and product functionality.

Your acquired knowledge and first-hand working experience with robotic eyes (3D Sensors) and brains (robotic software) will allow you to grow within the company to advanced consultancy and integration roles, dealing with more complex customer projects, opening travel opportunities (if you feel like it).

Core Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical point of contact for customers:
• Resolving customer’s queries
• Reviewing customer opportunities and analysis of technical feasibility
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collecting and categorizing customer feedback for product management
• Preparing and giving trainings, contributing to knowledge sharing
• Guide and help customers with installations, suggest improvements
• Exploring new uses cases, preparing content for marketing
• Contributing to testing and writing documentation

Requirements

• Friendly customer approach and good communication skills – polite email with technical explanation should not stop you
• Fluent in English, any other additional language is an advantage
• Analytical thinking person, detail oriented and practical problem solver
• Experiences that are welcomed: photography, computer graphics, machine vision, robotics, Linux OS, CAD; (having these as a hobby also counts)
• Motivated by problem solving, and willing to research beyond own knowledge – Fast and eager learner
• Knowing basic programming and mathematical concepts is welcomed
