Technical Design and Construction Engineer / About position
“We have a new, exciting opportunity for Design Engineers who are specialized or interested in robotics and technical design.
The Technical Design and Construction Engineer at Photoneo will be responsible for the technical design of single-purpose machines as well as the design of complex machines such as autonomous mobile robots, multifunctional addons, and robotic cells. You will be working closely with the mechatronics team and software engineering teams.”

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Collect requirements of the machine
- Accomplish assigned tasks
- Estimate the duration of the tasks
- Clearly define and document the scope of the requirements
- Produce documentation
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Propose a new functionality based on customer needs
- Attend customer onsite meetings
- Support customer questions and inquiries
- Manufacture prototypes
- Communicate with suppliers and the procurement department regarding parts ordering
- Oversee the certification process of any kind if required

Requirements
- University education - Bachelor's degree
- University education - Master's degree
- Postgraduate - Doctorate
- Active English - Upper intermediate (B2)
- SolidWorks - advanced
- High drive for resolution and completion of projects
- Education in the area of construction design
- Prior experience with at least one of following: Solid Works / Catia / Autodesk Fusion 360 / Solid Edge
