It was an immense pleasure and honor to be part of the Presidential delegation to Canada and the US last week.

Photoneo, represented by VP of Sales Jozef Vereš, was among 30 leading Slovak innovators that were selected to accompany the President of the Slovak Republic on this visit.

We are thankful that Photoneo’s approach to innovation, which reflects the company mission to “Enable a better world through Technology”, was recognized as a key player in Slovakia’s technological business ecosystem.

The itinerary was very intense, aimed to reinforce the ties and international partnerships between the Slovak Republic on the one hand and Canada and the US on the other.

The delegation visited major landmarks of global innovation to foster building the business highway between Slovakia and both the US & Canada, including:

📌 Global Affairs Canada: A discussion focused on why to invest in import/export limitations in Canada
📌 Delegation of the European Union to Canada: A discussion dedicated to the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement and Canadian market entry
📌 Ontario Investment and Trade Centre: This first bilateral business meeting in more than 20 years was opened by the President of the Slovak Republic and Canadian representatives
📌 Slovaks meet Slovaks in San Francisco: Meeting with Slovak PRO – an NGO supporting the Slovak professional community in the US. The event provided a great opportunity for making new connections and the exchange of experience
📌 Stanford Research Institute: A short presentation of Photoneo, followed by a visit to the Google campus and a presentation of their approach to AI
